Settings

Open Settings from the Workspace group in the sidebar. Every signed-in admin can open the hub. Each permission-filtered card appears only when the role can read its destination.

Getting there

• Sidebar path: Workspace → Settings.
• Permission: none for the hub. Each card below states its own read requirement. Updating a setting requires the corresponding update or manage authority.

General Settings

These cards are available with brands:read:

• Brand (/settings/business): studio identity, slug, logo, and timezone.
• Billing (/settings/billing): the studio's Elara subscription, separate from customer payment processing.
• Payments (/settings/payments): the provider used for customer checkout.
• Bookings (/settings/bookings): booking, cancellation, waitlist, and private-session rules.
• Tax (/settings/tax): default and override tax rates.
• Customers (/settings/customers): customer data requirements and the at-risk window.
• Staff (/settings/staff): whether a phone number is required when an instructor is added or edited (admins and managers do not carry a phone number).

Other General Settings cards are permission-dependent:

• Exceptions (/exceptions): payments:update.
• Locations (/locations): locations:read.
• Access roles (/staff?view=roles): admins:read.
• API Keys (/settings/api-keys): api_keys:read.
• Waivers (/settings/waivers): waivers:read.
• Bans (/settings/bans): bans:read.
• Discount Codes (/settings/discount-codes): discount-codes:read.
• Migration Center (/settings/migration): data-imports:read.

Communication Settings

• Notifications (/notifications) appears with email-campaigns:read or email-hooks:read.
• My Notifications (/settings/my-notifications) is available to every signed-in admin.

App and Website Settings

The following cards require brands:read:

• Design Settings (/settings/design): colors and logo for customer-facing surfaces.
• Website Integration (/settings/website-integration): allowed domains, the customer account URL, and website widgets.
