Design settings

The Design Settings page controls the look of your customer-facing surfaces.

Getting there

  • Where: Settings → Design Settings.
  • Permission: the brands resource.

What you can set

  • Primary Color: the accent colour used on customer-facing pages and widgets.
  • Logo URL: a link to your logo image (https://…).
  • Preview: a live preview that reflects your colour and logo as you change them.

Widget Design

  • Widget theme: Light, Dark, or Match the visitor's device, which follows each visitor's own light or dark system setting.
  • Schedule opens on: whether the booking calendar and schedule widgets open on one day or on the whole week. Customers can still switch once a widget is open.

The theme applies to every widget you embed. Schedule opens on applies to the booking calendar and schedule widgets, the only two that render a Day/Week switch, and to the calendar the location map opens when a visitor picks a location. A single page can override either one with the theme and default-view attributes documented in the widget reference.

The preview under these controls paints the brand colour the way a widget actually renders it, correcting it for the surface it is hardest to read on, so what you see is what visitors get. On Match the visitor's device it shows both schemes, because either one can be what a visitor sees.

Tips

  • Design settings affect customer-facing surfaces such as the booking widgets; your studio name and timezone live under Brand settings.
  • The widget theme and default view are read by the widgets themselves, so a change takes effect on the next page load with no snippet edit.
