Logging in & switching studios
The dashboard opens to a sign-in screen showing your studio's name and Sign in to your account.
Getting there
- Where: the login screen appears automatically whenever you are signed out.
- Permission: none, anyone with an admin account and password can sign in.
Common tasks
Sign in
- Enter your Email (for example,
you@example.com) and Password. - Select Sign In. While it works, the button shows a spinner and Signing in.
- If your details are wrong you'll see an error such as Login failed. If the dashboard can't reach the server you'll see Could not connect to server. Check your connection and try again.
Create a new studio
If you don't have a studio yet, select Create a new studio on the login screen.
- On Create Your Studio, fill in Studio Name, URL Slug (filled in automatically from the name until you edit it), Website Domain, Primary Color, Timezone, and an optional Logo URL.
- Under Admin Account, enter your First Name, Last Name, Email, and a Password of at least 8 characters.
- Select Create Studio. When it finishes you'll see Your Studio Is Ready, with a booking-widget embed snippet you can Copy and a test customer to experiment with.
- Select Continue Setup to go to the onboarding wizard.
How studios (brands) work
Each studio is a separate brand: its own customers, sessions, settings, and admins. Your sign-in is tied to a studio, so the dashboard always shows the studio you signed in to. To work in a different studio, sign in with the account for that studio, or select Create a new studio to start a fresh one.
TIP
The term brand appears in a few places in the dashboard (for example a customer's Brand ID). It simply means the studio that owns that record. See the Glossary.
