Customers

The Customers page is your customer database: Manage your customer database. From here you can search, filter, add, edit, export, and remove customers.

Getting there

  • Sidebar path: Operations → Customers.
  • Permission: the customers resource.

Screen reference

Customers table with filter and add customer actions

The customers table

The table shows Name, Email, Phone, Membership (the plan name with an Expired badge or an Expires {date} note), and Joined.

If nothing matches you'll see No customers match your filters.; an empty database shows No customers found. Add your first customer to get started.

Common tasks

Add a customer

Select Add customer, fill in First Name, Last Name, and Email (all required), plus optional Phone and Date of Birth, then Create.

Search and filter

Select Filters to open the filter panel. You can search by Name, email, or phone… and filter by Membership (All customers, Active membership, Expired membership, or No membership). Clear all filters resets everything. The Filters button shows a badge with the number of active filters.

TIP

Press Shift+V to open or close the Filters panel without reaching for the mouse (it's ignored while you're typing in a field). See Keyboard shortcuts.

Export to CSV

Tick the checkboxes on one or more rows, then select Export CSV from the selection bar. The file (customers.csv) includes Name, Email, Phone, Membership, Joined.

Archive in bulk

With rows selected, choose Archive to archive several customers at once.

Delete a customer

Select the delete icon on a row and confirm: Are you sure you want to delete this customer? This action cannot be undone. The confirmation previews everything that will be removed along with the customer (a cascade delete, see the Glossary).

Tips

  • Archiving keeps a customer's history but hides them; deleting removes them and their related records. Prefer archiving unless you're sure.
  • Open a row to see a customer's full profile.
