Team onboarding
Team onboarding works best when each role learns only the workflows they own.
Owners and studio managers
Owners and managers need enough access to configure the brand and audit day-to-day activity.
- Review Dashboard tour for the home screen.
- Review Staff and access roles before inviting staff.
- Confirm settings for bookings, payments, tax, customers, design, and integrations.
- Check Reports & analytics after the first sales and bookings are created.
Front-desk staff
Front-desk staff usually live in customers, point of sale, and attendance.
- Search and add customers in Customers.
- Open Customer profiles to review contact, membership, and activity history.
- Sell products, plans, packs, and gift cards in Point of Sale.
- Check customers in from Attendance.
Instructors
Instructors need schedules, rosters, and attendance context.
- Review Schedules for upcoming sessions.
- Review Sessions for session configuration.
- Use Attendance to confirm who arrived.
Permission rollout
Create roles around workflow ownership, not job titles alone. A front-desk role might need customers, payments, and memberships, while an instructor role might only need schedule and attendance access.
Start with the minimum required permissions, then add more when a real workflow needs them.
